Lord Jesus, we beseech You to bless Your humble servant, Pope Francis, and guide him with Your Holy Spirit. Bestow upon him the courage and strength to lead the Church according to Your will. Graciously grant him a deeper understanding of what it means to be a shepherd, to lead the faithful and the clergy with a heart full of love and mercy. May he continue to faithfully shepherd the flock You have entrusted him, with the help of Your Spirit. Amen.
