Lord, we pray for Christians facing new bioethical challenges; may they continue to defend the dignity of all human life with prayer and action. Fill us with Your Spirit and grant us profound and subtle discernment as we encounter challenges put forth by the progress of bioethics. Help us to use the biotechnological applications prudently by respecting and protecting human dignity. May the Christian faithful commit themselves to the energetic promotion of a new culture of life. Amen.
